| Description |
| Bermuda (cynodon dactylon) is a perennial grass grown in warmer, drier climates. It is grown for both seed and hay. As hay, it provides a moderate amount of protein and a good amount of roughage since it is fine stemmed and soft. |

| Harvesting and Yields |
| Cut starting June 1st to 3 to 4 inches and then every 28 days thereafter for four to five cuttings per season. To maximize yields, Bermuda should not be harvested after Sept. 1Yields 3 to 4 tons/acre is easy to accomplish under the proper soil fertility practices. |

| Finishing and Packaging |
| Available in double compressed hay with finishing options including ½ cut, wrapped, and RFV tags or straw with ½ cut, or wrapped. |

| Grading Levels |
| Grading of Bermuda Hay is based on visual inspection where the color, fiber length, texture, and purity are evaluated. While we assess fiber length, it is not part of the grading system as fiber length in Bermuda Hay is based on customer preference and does not necessarily reflect on the quality. Available grades include #2, #2 Brown, and #3. |
